Seven Pak Universities in QS World Ranking List 2019

Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) is the UK based rating agency and it has released the rankings with seven Pakistani universities as these Pakistani universities are included in top 1000 universities of the world. Seven Pak Universities in QS World Ranking List 2019.
Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS) is included in the list of the top world ranking universities. This university is ranked at 375 on the QS with the overall score of 29.2 and it stands at the top 500 universities of the world. This institute has improved its position than the last year, when its position was at 397.
National University of Sciences and Technology Islamabad has improved its position from 417 to 400 with its overall score of 28.2. Quaid-e-Azam University is the third university in the list, which occupies ranking range of 511 to 520 and it has done its improvement from 551 to 560 last year.
There are some other universities like COMSATS, University of Engineering and Technology Lahore and University of the Punjab are ranked in 801 to 1000 rankings. This year, COMSATS has lost its position because it was ranked in 751 to 800 position last year. Lahore University of Management Sciences was ranked in range of 701 to 750 and it cannot be determined that this university has gained its position or not as QS gives the range for low ranked universities.
Massachusetts Institute of Technology of USA is at the top of the QS list of the world ranking universities with the total score of 100 and it was at the eight positions during last year. The Stanford University has the total score of 98.4 and it is present on the second position and Harvard University is present at the third place with overall score of 97.4.
